Rice blast field resistance gene Pb1 and its utilization

摘要

The present inventor succeeded in isolating and identifying the rice blast field resistance gene Pb1 for the first time. The Pb1 gene revealed by the present invention is a CC-NBS-LRR type resistance gene and has a novel sequence. Unlike the rice blast resistance genes reported so far, it is a gene with the characteristics of adult resistance, and it became clear that rice blast field resistance with high practicality could be imparted to rice by modifying this gene .
