PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact semiconductor laser light emitting apparatus capable of generating synthesized laser light having a high power density with a high degree of efficiency using a semiconductor laser light, and a solid-state laser rod excitation module capable of exciting a solid-state laser rod with high power and with a high degree of efficiency using the semiconductor laser light and obtaining the laser light with a high beam quality.;SOLUTION: The solid-state laser rod excitation module comprises: a diffusive reflection tube 4; a stack-type semiconductor laser 5 wherein output laser light has a large divergence angle in a direction (fast axis direction) parallel to the axis of the solid-state laser rod 2; a semiconductor laser light focusing means 6; a semiconductor laser light guiding means 7 for guiding the semiconductor laser light focused by the semiconductor laser light focusing means 6 to the inside of the diffusive reflection tube 4 while substantially maintaining the size in the direction (fast axis direction) parallel to the direction in which bar-shaped components are stacked; and a semiconductor laser light diffusion means 8 for diffusing the semiconductor laser light guided by the semiconductor laser light guiding means 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
