The present invention relates in general to a filter press for use in filtering a liquid-phase filtrate only by passing a slurry in the liquid and solid state through a filter cloth under pressure, and segregating solid from the slurry. More specifically, the present invention relates to a high-efficient filter press for precision chemistry, in which filtrate channels are modified with a high efficiency to enhance filtering/cleansing functions, and the circumference of the filter cloth is made waterproof to prevent leakage of filtrate under indentation, whereby the filter press performs the cleansing operation better and even dries the solid by using a dry compressed air. To this end, the filter press of the present invention includes support blocks (10), each with a water/air supply through hole (32) in the upper corner of one side, a slurry supply through hole (34) in the upper corner of the other side, a water/air/filtrate return through hole (36) in the lower corner of one side, and a supply chamber (38) at the center for accommodating a slurry and molding the slurry to a cake state; filter blocks (12), each with a supply circulation path 54 in correspondence to the supply chamber of the support block, and a filter sheet (50) formed of a plurality of fluid flow path grooves (51) for passing through a filtrate; and filter clothes (11) interposed between the support blocks and the filter blocks. Preferably, a plurality of water/air/filtrate outlets (58) are formed only in the lower end of one side (a) of the filter sheet, and a plurality of water/air inlets (56) are formed only in the upper end of the other side (b) of the filter sheet.
