Disclosed is a mobilize of a leukocyte and/or a hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell which is economically advantageous compared to the administration of a G-CSF preparation and causes reduced adverse side effects. A mobilizer of a leukocyte means an agent for increasing the number of leukocytes, and a mobilizer of a hematopoietic setm/progenitor cell means an agent for mobilizing a hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell from the marrow to the peripheral blood. Particularly, disclosed is a pharmaceutical preparation which is reduced in such adverse side effects (e.g., head ache, fever, bone ache) that may be caused when a G-CSF preparation is administered as a mobilizer of a hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell to the peripheral blood. A pharmaceutical preparation comprising an N-acetylneuraminate sulfate ester or an N-acetylneuraminate homopolymer sulfate ester or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. When the pharmaceutical preparation is administered, an effect of increasing the number of leukocytes and an effect of mobilizing hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells to the peripheral blood can be observed.
