PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning assist device creating fill-in-the-blank questions by specifying important points to fill matching the theme of the sentence to learn.;SOLUTION: This learning assist device 1 creating fill-in-the-blank questions from sentences to learn has a means to read the sentences including the main sentence used to create fill-in-the-blank questions from the communication unit 16, to store it in the question creation text file group 141, to morphologically analyze each sentence by using the morphological analysis dictionary file 142, and to takes out self-sufficient words; a means to compute the importance which is the appearance frequency of the self-sufficient words appearing in the main sentence and the following sentences among the sentences; a means to pick up at least one self-sufficient word from the importance of the self-sufficient words in the main sentence and the following sentences; and a means to blank out a certain number of the selected self-sufficient words appearing in the main sentence document to store in the fill-in-the-blank question file group 143 and to output through the communication unit 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
