Video Footage transfer system and video material transfer method

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the transfer of a video material quickly without any troubles. PSOLUTION: A host control terminal 120 of a transfer source system 100 and that 220 of a transfer destination system 200 decode video materials recorded in video servers 110, 210 for fetching, and utilize a capture function to prepare a still image (thumbnail) at a fixed frame interval. The host control terminal 220 receives a thumbnail sent from the host control terminal 120 after the transfer of the material is completed, and compares the received thumbnail with that stored in a thumbnail memory 27 for each frame to detect difference, thus confirming the transferred material.
