PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Fourier transformation interface which makes the relation between a Fourier-transformed image and a frequency filter easy to understand.;SOLUTION: A magnifying observation device comprises: a Fourier transforming means for generating the Fourier-transformed image of an input image acquired by an image acquiring means; a display means 4 for displaying the Fourier-transformed image; a filter setting means for setting a range wherein frequency filter processing is applied and the kind of the frequency filter as settings for frequency filter processing associated with the Fourier-transformed image displayed on the display means 4; a highlighting means for highlighting and displaying the application range of a frequency filter set by the filter setting means in the Fourier-transformed image displayed on the display means 4; a filter arithmetic means for performing the frequency filter processing associated with the Fourier-transformed image according to the settings of the frequency filter; and an inverse Fourier-transforming means for inversely Fourier-transforming the Fourier-transformed image after the frequency filter processing by the filter arithmetic means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
