PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI device performing GUI development in consideration of response of a machine. PSOLUTION: A widget is disposed on a window, and a selected widget is associated with parameters assigned to a model in a model group 200b. When an operation is made to change the values of parameters in the model group 200b from a GUI editing application 200d, the model group 200b transmits data showing the change operation to a model group 100b on the electronic music device 100 side. In response thereto, the model group 100b changes the values of parameters, and notifies the changed parameter values to the model group 200b. The model group 200b notifies the GUI editing application 200d of the values of the parameters. When the notified values of the parameters show change of display of the widget associated with the parameters, the GUI editing application 200d reflects the notified values of the parameters to the display of the widget.
