PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reducing offset voltage for a substrate coil type magnetostrictive torque sensor capable of enhancing a temperature characteristic and capable of restraining rotation angle dependency.;SOLUTION: This method of reducing offset voltage is arranged with a four-layered flexible substrate 1 each having two-layered with wiring layers 2, 4 having a plurality of coils inclined at +45° with respect to a rotary shaft between the rotary shaft having a magnetostrictive characteristic and a magnetic core, and wiring layers 3, 5 having a plurality of coils inclined at -45°, and a bridge circuit is assembled in with two +45° detecting circuits 22, 23 formed by connecting coils with respective half numbers of those in the two wiring layers in series, and two -45° detecting circuits 24, 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
