Rust preventive additive, rust preventive oil composition, and rust preventive treatment method for metal material

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust-preventive additive acting also as a water separating agent, which can perform in one step the removal of water adhering to a metallic material and the rust-proofing treatment when the metallic material is subjected to a treatment such as water washing and to provide a rust-preventive oil composition. PSOLUTION: The rust-preventive additive acting also as a water removing agent comprises the components specified in (1), (2), and (3). The rust-preventive oil composition is prepared by formulating the rust-preventive composition with a base oil. (1) a 4 to 20C fatty acid and/or oxidized wax, (2) a 4 to 18C aliphatic amine, and (3) at least one member selected from the group consisting of a sodium salt, a magnesium salt, a barium salt, a zinc salt, and an aliphatic amine salt of an organophosphoric ester having an 8 to 24C saturated or unsaturated alkyl group (optionally containing at least one hydroxyl group) and a magnesium salt, a calcium salt, a barium salt, and an aliphatic amine salt of oxidized wax.
