Rust Preventive and Corrosion Characteristics of Greases on Metals.

摘要

Two economical methods for determining the rust preventive properties of greases on a broad spectrum of metals used in aerospace bearings were developed. The new methods are valuable for qualitatively determining the rust preventive properties of greases under high humidity conditions. Modifications of the two methods were also found to be useful in determining the corrosion characteristics of greases on metals at elevated temperatures. (Author)
