PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer-aided address identification server and a computer-aided address identification method capable of detecting the duplicate registration of addresses in a real time in response to the inquiry of an information terminal at a reception undertaker side and immediately answering the detected result.;SOLUTION: This address identification server 12 connected to the Internet 10 is provided with an address database 18 which generates an address code by inputting address character string information received from a first information terminal 14 to an address dictionary 16, and registers the reception date of the address character string information and the history of address codes, and configured to generate inquiry address codes by inputting inquiry address character string information received through the Internet 10 from a second information terminal 20 to an address dictionary 16, and to collate the inquiry address codes with address codes registered in the address database 18, and to calculate the number of histories of the matched address codes, and to transmit the number of histories through the Internet 10 to the second information terminal 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
