PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection construction method for a column, by which method when any one of divided key members gets caught and cannot be inserted, a state of the key member being caught is easily canceled.;SOLUTION: According to the connection construction method for the column, an exterior fitting member 2 and the interior fitting member 3 are fitted to each other, and then a plurality of divided key members 15 are inserted through an opening 16 into a space between an inward peripheral slot 11 and an outward peripheral slot 8 to engage the exterior fitting member 2 with the interior fitting member 3 in the longitudinal direction of the column. The plurality of divided key members 15 are connected to each other in advance so that each of the divided key members 15 can be changed in position to be insertable between the inward peripheral slot 11 and the outward peripheral slot 8, and then are fitted sequentially across the inward peripheral slot 11 and the outward peripheral slot 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
