PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and specific method for determining protease activity which activates blood coagulation factor VII from protein solutions.;SOLUTION: In the method, the protein solution containing the protease and/or its proenzyme is incubated with a solid phase to which an antibody against the protease has been coupled beforehand, after washing the solid phase, the protease and/or its proenzyme fixed thereto are incubated with reagents which allow determination of their activity.
