PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priority seat management system for preparing a priority seat in accordance with situation of a priority passenger.;SOLUTION: When a priority passenger detection part 12 installed at a ticket gate detects priority passenger data transmitted from a priority data holding apparatus 1, a vehicle prediction function 32 predicts a plurality of trains to get on. A priority seat reservation/canceling function 34 reserves a priority seat in each predicted train. When all the seats are occupied, the system enters a state of waiting for the seat, and when a seat becomes available, the seat is reserved. When the priority passenger detection part 12 installed at a platform detects the priority passenger, the vehicle prediction function 32 refines the candidates. The priority seat reservation/canceling function 34 cancels a priority seat reserved in the train excluded from the candidates.
