PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate photosynthesis activity for coral, in under an environment with electric field formed therein. PSOLUTION: The photosynthesis activity evaluation system of coral 1 is constituted, such that the salt water W and the coral C are confined in a testing vessel 2, to which an anode electrode 5 and a cathode electrode 6 are protruded. The anode 5 and the cathode 6 are connected to an electrical source 3. The anode 5 is stored in an electrode container 20 filled with salt water W. The salt water W of the anode 5 in the electrode container 20 and the salt water W of the part, where the coral C is arranged are separated by an electrode separator 21 having electrical conductivity.
