PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user authentication method which can simplify input at log-in while eliminating the risk of other persons logging-in using an log-in ID and a password of an authorized user. PSOLUTION: This method comprises a first step of accepting input of biological information by a user, a second step of displaying a user authentication screen in which a user name corresponding to the biological information and a part of a password corresponding to the user name are automatically inputted; and a third step of accepting input for complementing the password partially automatically inputted.
