PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutrophil function inspection system capable of inspecting migration ability and active oxygen production ability of neutrophil simultaneously by a simple operation without requiring previous separation of the neutrophil from whole blood.;SOLUTION: The active oxygen production ability of the neutrophil is detected by chemiluminescence in hydrogel, concerning the neutrophil penetrating into the hydrogel, by using the hydrogel to/into which the neutrophil adheres or penetrates selectively. As the hydrogel, hydrogel is used, including a cell adhesion factor, and showing a heat-reversible sol-gel transition phenomenon showing a sol state at a low temperature and gelling at a high temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
