PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator preventing vibration noise and vibration caused by alternating torque by absorbing backlash between a ball screw shaft and a ball nut.;SOLUTION: This actuator includes: the ball nut 46 linearly moving in an axial direction via a plurality of balls 54 by rotating the ball screw shaft 45 by rotary drive of an electric motor 36, and is provided with a link arm 47; and a link member 48 linking the ball nut and a control shaft 32. A first and a second spring retainer 61, 62 are provided on an end edge of the ball nut 46 and an outer ring 51a of a second ball bearing 51. Backlash is absorbed by pressing the ball nut in a small lift control direction by spring force of a coil spring 60 elastically held between the both spring retainers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
