PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate sorting operation of residual grains by oscillating sorting plates after an automatic stop of hulling operation due to exhaustion of husk in an oscillating sorting plate type rice hulling and sorting machine.;SOLUTION: In the rice hulling and sorting machine with an oscillating sorting plate type mixed rice sorting part (3) for separating and sorting mixed rice into hulls and brown rice by the oscillating sorting plates (15, etc.), the hull hopper (6) of a hulling part (1) is equipped with a hull sensor (SE5) for detecting the presence of hulls. A means (40) for automatically stopping operation at the exhaustion of hulls is installed which stops driving of a main motor (M1) for driving the rice hulling and sorting machine in connection with detection of the absence of hulls by the hull sensor (SE5). An auto-stop on/off switch (SW7) of the means (40) is installed which switches on and off. An automatic stop on/off switching means (40) is installed which switches the on state of the auto-stop on/off switch (SW7) to the off state in connection with driving stop operation of the main motor (M1) by the means (40).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
