PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an execution path detecting device or the like capable of detecting an execution path of an instruction string of a high execution frequency at a high speed with little memory capacity.;SOLUTION: The execution path detecting device for detecting an execution path of an instruction string of a high execution frequency includes: an execution history table 310 for storing the number of executing times of an instruction of the start address of an instruction string block obtained by making an instruction string including a branch instruction one block; a branch history table 320 for storing branch history of the branch instruction; and a branch history management part 220 for performing processing for collecting branch history of the branch instruction, wherein the branch history management part 220 starts to collect branch history and outputs path information for specifying an execution path on the basis of the branch history on condition that the number of executing times exceeds a given threshold.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
