PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera attitude grasping method capable of grasping the attitude of a camera by a simple constitution. PSOLUTION: The camera attitude grasping method includes at least a first process for setting a plurality of directional reference points Ph1 and Ph2 in a selection plane 22 fixed on a subject 20, setting attitudinal reference parallel lines K1 and K2 intersecting with the selection plane 22 at right angles, and photographing the subject 20 by a camera 10 in a photographing attitude in a state approximately directly facing the selection plane in such a way as to include the selection plane 22 and the attitudinal reference parallel lines K1 and K2 to acquire a single photograph.
