PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quicken the difference calculation of coordinates without using an exclusive arithmetic unit. PSOLUTION: A storage part 2 preliminarily stores the value of Lx as the length of one side in the X axial direction of a basic cell and a storage part 3 stores the value of Xi as the X coordinates of i particles. A control part 1 outputs a selection signal #1 determined from the positional relation of microcells including the i particle in the basic cell, and an arithmetic part 7 adds or subtracts the value of the storage part 2 for the value of the storage part 3 based on the selection signal #1 and stores the value in a storage part 4. Then, the control part 1 outputs a selection signal #2 for selecting a value to minimize the distance between the microcell including the i particle and the microcell including j particle among the values of the storage parts 3, 4 and outputs the coordinate value of the j particle, and a selection part 6 selects and outputs either of the values of the storage parts 3, 4 based on the selection signal #2.
