Software elements use a comparison calculation based on the drive-side angular position and the driven- side angular position to determine a slip between the carrier and the rotationally symmetrical precision part. - Independent claims are also included for: - (1) CNC measuring instrument (10) for measuring a gearwheel and comprising the above device; and - (2) Process for measuring a rotationally symmetrical precision part using a CNC measuring instrument.
