PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling adapter 10 to be used for assembling on the outer diameter side of an input shaft 6 of a transmission 2, a cylindrical-shape hydraulic clutch operating device 4 which makes a friction type clutch mechanism 3 arranged between an output shaft 5 of a power generating source and the input shaft 6 of the transmission 2, into a connected or disconnected condition, while supporting the hydraulic clutch operating device 4 to be assembled at its assembly site in proper attitude. PSOLUTION: The hydraulic clutch operating device 4 includes a release bearing 44 abutting on an inner diameter portion of a diaphragm spring 33 of the friction type clutch mechanism 3, and hydraulic cylinders 41-43 for sliding the release bearing 44 on the input shaft 6. The assembling adapter 10 has a cylindrical shell portion 11 whose thickness allows it to be detachably and correspondingly fitted into an annular gap between the inner diameter face of the hydraulic cylinder (the inner peripheral face of an inner sleeve 42) and the outer peripheral face of the input shaft 6, in the axial direction.
