A method of manufacturing a wind turbine blade shell member (2) having an incorporated fastening member (4) near the root is provided. Finally, a guiding means for aligning a fastening member (4) relative to a further fastening member and/or relative to the mold during molding and a subassembly comprising a guiding means is provided.
