Claim 1: a process that includes: a) to introduce a feed comprising: (i) a Water immiscible Organic extractant; (ii) Water; and (V) at least one isomer of butanol; and (VI) optionally a non condensable gas in a First distillation column,Where the first distillation column comprises a Section of exhaustion and optionally a rectification Section at a Point above the section of introduction of ExhaustionWhere the first distillation column has an operating temperature t1 and operating pressure P1 in the section of Exhaustion; where t1 and P1 are selected to produce a First stream of Fund and a first upper stream of Steam, The First Fund comprises current and L in water immiscible Organic extractant and is substantially free of water and butanolThe first and current top includes water vapor, butanol, optionally the extractant,The Non condensable Gas and optionally; (b) introduce a dragging Organic immiscible in water in a container or process Stream: (c) the first current higher condensing Steam to produce a gaseous phase and Recover a First Mixed condensate; where the first Damned Sado Mixed comprises: (i) an organic Phase comprising butanol, dragging,And Water; and (ii) an aqueous Phase comprising Water and butanol; and where the first condensate Mixed includes dragging enough to provide the phase separation of Aqueous and organic phases; (d) introduce at least a portion of the aqueous phase in the first distillation Column; (e) to introduce a first portion of the Organic phase in a Second distillation column that TienAnd at least one section of Exhaustion; and (f) to operate the second distillation column to produce a Second stream that comprises of butanol, and where the background current is substantially free of water and dragging, and a Second current higher Steam comprising butane L, dragging, and Water.
