The present invention refers to a polymer composition having an elongation at break greater than 200% measured by ASTM method D-638, comprising polylactide and, based on the weight of the polymer, 17 to 25% of a compound chains modifier, from 30 to 55% by weight of an elastomeric polymer and 20 to 45% by weight of a plasticizer-free phthalate. The invention also refers to the method of preparing said composition and to a process of making an article from said composition and to the article itself.
