LOAD CONTROL DEVICE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN ELECTRIC WALL BOX; TO CONTROL THE QUANTITY OF RELEASED POWER FROM AN AC POWER SOURCE TO A FLUORESCENT LAMP; AND TO CONTROL THE QUANTITY OF ENERGY RELEASED TO AN ELECTRICAL CHARGE. A load control device being operated to receive a first control signal having a first magnitude and to generate a second control signal having a second magnitude. The charge control device is adapted to be installed in a wall electrical box having a partition wall. The charge control device comprises a split housing having first and second parts of the enclosure and a slot between the two parts. A first connector is provided in an opening of the first part to receive the first control signal and a second connector is provided in an opening of the second part to provide the second control signal. The split enclosure slot receives the dividing wall when the load control device is installed in the wall electrical box so that the first control signal is electrically isolated from the second control signal. Accordingly, the charge control device meets the requirements of the National Electrical Code when installed in a wall-mounted electrical box.
