Methods are proposed for determining patients as susceptible or not susceptible to therapy based on the differential expression of one or more than one gene. Also proposed are gene expression profiles, microarrays containing nucleic acid sequences representing gene expression profiles, and new diagnostic kits and methods of treatment. These kits and methods relate to the treatment of specific groups, for example, cancer patients, which are identified by their gene expression profiles as suffering from tumors expressing MAGE.
