NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED FEED COMPOSITIONS FOR MODIFICATION OF BODY FAT COMPOSITION IN PIGS

Nutritionally balanced feed compositions for modification of body fat composition in pigs relates to two feed compositions for pigs, both of which contains about 20% by weight of protein source, about 5% by weight of a vegetable oil source which constitutes 3400 kilocalories of digestible energy per kilogram of feed. The feed that promotes deposition of more unsaturated fatty acids constitutes 35% by weight of maize, 8% of wheat bran, 25% of rice polish, 10% of deoiled groundnut cake, 9.5% of soybean meal, 5%, fish meal, 2% of mineral mixture, 0.025% of vitamin mixture, 0.5% of common salt, 5% of sunflower oil. The feed that promotes deposition of more saturated fatty acids, constitutes 35% by weight of maize, 8% of wheat bran, 25% of rice polish, 10% of deoiled groundnut cake, 9.5% of soybean meal, 5% fish meal, 2% of mineral mixture, 0.025% of vitamin mixture, 0.5% of common salt, 5% of coconut oil.
