A SOLAR WATER HEATING SYSTEM USING TERRACE TO EMBED PIPES TO ENHANCE THE SOLAR RADIATION COLLECTION AREA.

A solar water heating system, designed to utilize entire or sufficient central portion of the area of terrace (or sunlit ground) by installing top tiles of toughened glass or glassy ceramic and lower tiles made up of heat resistant material. The system is further supported by second fluid heating by setting up thermo siphon of second fluid with high absorption power and high boiling point. The system also further supported by conventional electrical heating system. This solar water heating system generally relates to a new design in which the solar heat collector assembly of hollow metallic pipes with fins is sandwiched between heat absorbing material fixed at the lower side of the top transparent tile where the top tile made up of a thin slice of transparent material like toughened glass or glassy ceramic and glued from below with heat absorbing material containing a semicircular groove made for fitting metallic pipe on lower side which is to be sandwiched in between this thin transparent top tile and a thick opaque bottom tile made up of heat resistant material and glued on its top side with heat absorbing material containing a semicircular groove for resting of metallic pipes which are coated with heat absorbing material. The system is also further supported with electrical heater for heating water when the earlier proposed invented method fail to produce sufficient heating of water during chilling cold in the winter and rainy season when incoming solar radiation is much weakened due to thick clouds in the sky.
