Present invention describes a unique methodes of biodiesel production from dairy waste Fossil fuels demand to meet energy requirement is increasing every day and oil reserves are reducing dramatically. Sustainable energy production represents one of the most alarming problems of the 21st century. The basic sources of this energy are petroleum, natural gas, coal, hydro and nuclear. Petroleum based diesel consumption pattern in India 6 is around 36x10 tons. The major disadvantage of using these fuels is atmospheric pollution. Petroleum fuels combustion is a major source of greenhouse gas (GHG). Apart from these emissions, petroleum fuels are also major source of other air contaminants including NOx, SOx, CO, particulate matter and volatile organic compounds. Recently, because of increase in crude oil prices, limited resources of fossil oil and environmental concerns, there has been a renewed focus on vegetable oils and animal fats to make biodiesel. As a kind of alternative renewable biofuels, development of biodiesel is helpful to realize sustainable development of human being. India milk production is 109 million tons for 2009-2010 as per US government report. Every year billions kg of waste produced annually by dairy industries in India. Present reviews accentuate the potential advantages of using dairy waste as a source of biodiesel production.
