The present invention relates to development of chocolate with the blend of ayurvedic composition(s) with proven pharmacological activities such as, nutritional, anti-oxidant, anti stress, adaptogenic and immune enhancing property. A novel chocolate product for use in delivering medicaments and/or nutrients to animals, particularly humans. The ayurvedic chocolate product is a mixture of natural products like amla, ginger, oats, barley, honey, dates, black sesame, dried fruit nuts & herbs such as tulsi, ashvagandha & guduchi brami. The chocolate product used in this invention also preferably contains effective amounts of at least one chocolate and shelajeet aroma and at least one arjun aroma.
