CEMENTITIOUS SLURRY FOR OIL AND GAS WELL CEMENTING APPLICATIONS

The present subject matter provides a cementitious slurry for cementing casing in oil and gas wells, the slurry comprising pozzolana portland cement; water in an amount from 52 % to 55 % by weight of pozzolana portland cement; and at least one additive, wherein the total amount of the additives is from 0.3 % to 3.0 % by weight of pozzolana portland cement. The present subject matter also provides a cementitious slurry for cementing casing in oil and gas wells, the slurry comprising pozzolana portland cement; water in an amount of 52 % to 55 % by weight of pozzolana portland cement; silica flour in an amount of 35 % by weight of pozzolana portland cement; and at least one additive, wherein the total amount of the additives is from 0.7 % to 4.7 % by weight of pozzolana portland cement.
