摘要

Running designs of the length measuring scales are very simple. More simple the instrument is lesser is the scope of accuracy and usability. The existing length measuring scafes afso carry an error on use and the degree of the error depend up on the user to user. To overcome these errors the scale is provided with a slider which slides in / over the groove across the length of the scale and anchors at the desired position into the anchoring points provided. The zero mark of the scale is the inner corner. Thus the gap between the zero and the slider is the distance which is to be marked.
