"Composition and preparation of herbal liposomes for antiasthmatic activity - with increased efficacy and reduced dose ," gives the maximum relief in asthma with maximum safety and no side effects as these are prepared from the herbal extracts. Herbal liposomes combination formulation i.e. liposomes of A.lebbeck and A.vasica are first time prepared and given to have maximum synergistic effect, maximum pharmacological activity with reduced dose of extracts by 20% by liposomal carriers. Both types of liposomes are separately characterized, evaluated for different parameters like size, shape, Polydispersity index, zeta potential, entrapment efficiency, stability and various pharmacological screening activities are also performed to prove effectiveness of formulation. Drug-drug interaction study done by FTFR. standardization of formulation performed by HPTLC. After passing all above parameters, Novel herbal liposomes formulation acts as a golden link between natural source and novel drug delivery in effective treatment of asthma.
