This invention relates to a novel twin cylinder turbocharged inter cooled internal combustion engine comprises of crank train with its housing, combustion chambers, valve train and its housing, manifolds, flywheel, turbocharger, exhaust gas recirculation system and intercooler, wherein said combustion chambers are pre-combustion chamber and main combustion chamber, wherein pre-combustion chamber is provided in the cylinder head and main combustion chamber is provided in piston, said turbocharger is mounted on exhaust manifold and exhaust gas recirculation valve is mounted on inlet manifold and is interconnected with inlet and exhaust manifolds, said intercooler is provided in between compressor outlet of said turbocharger and at inlet of said intake manifold.
