METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OFUPPER LIMIT OF PERMISSIBLE LOAD APPLYING A TEST OF RESIDUAL STRENGTH

This invention concerns measuring technology, particularly the methods of control and diagnostics based on the acoustic emission (AE) phenomenon. The offered method can be applied during residual strength testing of various constructions, and also during control and diagnostics of technical state of machines and structures, functioning which with damages are limited or not permissible. Invention is carried out by determination of additional criteria of residual strength: it is load, which corresponds to the moment of beginning of object destruction. This moment is fixed according to the AE energy growth in the process of residual strength testing of objects, which were early exposed to the cyclic fatigue loading during preliminary testing or operation.
