The present invention refers to an integral system for evaluating the stability in human beings, which is based on a mathematical analysis of the signal of the human head movements produced after subjecting the studied individuals to a visual stimulus: open-close-open the eyes; The signal from the head movements is obtained by a video system that records the displacements presented by a reflexive spherical marker towards the infrared mounted on the temporal region of the head of the individual. The resulting signal is digitally processed for obtaining a mathematical model of second order, which solution provides a couple of roots or poles. The system uses Control Theory criteria using the location, in the complex plane, of the obtained roots or poles. The location of the poles allows an absolute stability indicator to be determined upon locating the left side poles of the imaginary axis of the complex plane. In addition, the location of the poles, considering the closeness or farness of the imaginary axis, provides us the information of the relative stability, which simultaneously will allow a risk of falling to be evaluated. This information of preventive character results invaluable, since it is complemented with a clinical intended to establish more rehabilitation therapies to people having this risk.
