Disclosed is an antibody or fragment thereof that binds specifically to PAG4, PAG6, PAG9, PAG16, PAG17, PAG19, PAG20 and PAG21, wherein the antibody or fragment thereof comprises an amino acid sequence comprising SEQ ID NO: 1 or a sequence with at least 97% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 1, or an amino acid sequence comprising SEQ ID NO: 2 or a sequence with at least 92% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 2. Further disclosed is an antibody produced by a hybridoma deposited as ATCC Accession Number PTA-8566, or an antigen-binding fragment thereof or an isolated cell deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-8566, or a progeny cell thereof that produces antibody 2D9.
