Disclosed are peptide analogues and immunogenic compositions comprising the sequence EAAGIGILTIV corresponding to Class I MHC-restricted T cell epitopes. The disclosed sequence may comprise selected substitutions. Also disclosed is the use of the peptides in medicaments for amplifying a CTL response and for entraining a Class I MHC-restricted T cell response.
