Disclosed is an ex vivo anti-DCIR immunoglobulin or portion thereof that is secreted from mammalian cells and an antigen bound to the immunoglobulin, wherein the immunoglobulin or portion thereof is capable of specific interaction with DCIR; and wherein the antigen is in a fusion protein with the immunoglobulin or portion thereof; the immunoglobulin or portion thereof further characterized in that it is not bound to cohesion or dockerin.
