According to the invention, the power plant comprises a power producing unit () provided with a gas turbine () with two combustion chambers, operating with gas, preferably natural gas, and oil, and with a steam turbine () provided with a combustion products discharge unit () wherein there is placed a carbon dioxide separation unit (), the outlet of which is connected by pipes to the inlet of a carbon dioxide receiving unit () of an algae bioreactor (), while the outlet () of the receiving unit () is connected to a carbon dioxide inlet point (); the algae bioreactor () is connected with an algae centrifuge (), an algae oil pressing unit () to which there is connected a unit () for the separation of algae oil from algae briquettes, which is connected, in its turn, to an algae briquette storing tank () and/or an algae oil storing tank (), the algae bioreactor () being also connected with a water pump (), a cleaning unit (), filters () and a nutritive substance dosing device (), all said elements being controlled by a computer ().
