The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition used for treating hepato-biliary diseases and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the composition comprises 15% of a mixture (A) consisting of essential oils of fur tree, pine, mint, orange, eucalyptus and sage, respectively, said essential oils being present in an amount of 18...22% in the mixture (A) and 85% of a mixture (B) consisting of 30...40% of oily extract of coniferous resin, 10...14% of milfoil oily extract, 45...55% of olive oil and 1...3% of buckthorn oil, the percentage being expressed by weight. According to the invention, the process consists in dosing the mixture (B) at a temperature of 30...40°C for 60 min, thereafter cooling down to a temperature of 20...25°C and adding, while stirring the mixture (A) in an amount of 15% from the total amount of the composition, while stirring continuously for 60 min, thereby resulting a product which is conditioned as solution or soft gelatin capsule.
