METHOD FOR VOLTAMPEROMETRIC DETERMINATION OF GALLIUM (III) IN EARTHS

Method for voltamperometric determination of gallium (III) in earths by which one prepares buffer solution to which solution of azo-dye is added, after that one introduces solution of Ga (III). To the buffer solution with azo-dye and solution of Ga (III) one additionally adds 1 % solution of ascorbic acid, as azo-dye one uses either eriochrome blue-black R, or calcex, or eriochrome red B. At the first two azo-dyes one uses acetate buffer solution, and at the third one – either acetate, or ammonium one. Reaction is carried out at room temperature.
