A method for producing magnetoelectric coatings of layered structure includes doping the oxide matrix. Layered active dielectrics are formed in two successive stages: the first coating layer is formed using of the micro arc method from electrolyte containing ultrafine ferrite particles. The second coating layer is formed in the electrolyte with ultrafine particles of barium strontium titanate.
