METHOD FOR FORECASTING PLACENTAL DYSFUNCTION IN FEMALE PATIENTS WITH PYELONEPHRITIS

A method for forecasting placental dysfunction in female patients with pyelonephritis comprises the genetic study of blood serum of the patient using polymerase chain reaction for detecting the normal homozygous form of the gene coding for the enzyme constitution endothelial NO-synthase, type intron 4 (eNOS4b/b), its polymorph heterozygous form (eNOS4b/a) and polymorph mutant in homozygous form (eNOS4a/a). The presence of the mutant forms of the gene coding for endothelial NO-synthase type intron 4 is predictive of the probable development of placental dysfunction in female patients with pyelonephritis.
