METHOD FOR MORPHOFUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENT OF THYROID IN FETUSES AND NEWBORNS

A method for morphofunctional assessment of thyroid in fetuses and newborns comprises the qualitative and quantitative analysis of organometric, histological and complex components of thyroid. The morphofunctional tension is assessed by the state of the follicles, desquamated thyrocytes, C-cells, Ashkinasi cells, the relative volume of stroma and parenchyma.
