METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING IMPAIRED FUNCTIONAL STATE OF GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT IN NEWBORNS AND INFANTS

A method for diagnosing the impaired functional state of gastrointestinal tract in the newborns and infants comprises the assessment of the complex of clinical and paraclinical parameters of the functional state of intestines, in particular the level of albumin, alpha-1-antitrypsin and slgA, the state of microbiocenosis of large bowel in feces are examined and the history of the disease is taken (hereditary factors, the particulars of the gestation and labors in the mothers). According to the complex of the data obtained, the impaired functional state of gastrointestinal tract is diagnosed when one or several parameters deviate from the average age-related values.
